Enrolment
We’re excited that you’re considering enroling your child in our school. At this stage we are only accepting students between Year 1 and Year 6. If you are accepted but the classes are already full you will be placed on a waiting list.
It is also worth noting that as a private school we can expand quickly. If we get enough students on a waiting list, and we have enough space to establish an additional classroom, we can hire another teacher and grow the school.
It is also our intention to add Year 7 and 8 in 2027, and one extra year level each year after that until we have a school which caters for all of year 1-13.
Covenant Christian Academy has an open enrolment policy with no zoning restrictions.
Enrolment Process:
Step 1: Learn about our school.
You can do this by looking through the website in detail, reading the school handbook, and organizing a meeting with staff to answer any further questions.
Step 2: Download and fill out your enrolment forms.
If you plan on enrolling multiple children you will need to fill out a “Student Details” form for each child. You will only have to complete one “Parent Details” form.
Once you have all the material completed, email it to enquiries@cca.school.nz. Our admin staff will process it and get back to you promptly.
Step 3: Entrance Interview
You will be contacted to organize an entrance interview with a member of the board and/or the principal.
Following a successful interview you will receive a letter of offer.
Step 4: Return the form and pay the admin fee
In order to accept the letter of offer you will need to return a signed copy of it to the school office and pay the administration fee of $500 within seven days of receiving the letter.
Please note that your child is not technically enroled until all these steps have been completed. Submitting your application also doesn’t guarantee a place.
Once enrolled, your family becomes part of the “Friends of CCA” community, keeping you informed about school events and activities.
Enrolment Priority
The Board maintains an enrolment list for prospective students who are seeking future admission and entrance to the school.
It is highly recommended that you submit the enrolment application at your earliest convenience to ensure that your child is included in the waiting list.
Successful applicants for the enrolment list are prioritized based on specific criteria:
First priority is given to siblings of current students or alumni of the school.
Second priority is extended to children and families recommended by a Christian church pastor, provided the family is a member or faithful adherent of the church.
The third priority on the waiting list is given to children of families recommended by current school families or by families whose children have graduated from the school.
